2023 Lonesome Spring Ranch Vineyard Rosé

Our 2023 Lonesome Spring Ranch Rosé boasts a glittering, pale salmon pink hue that captures the eye. The nose delicately invites with whispers of orange blossoms intertwined with hints of early strawberries, fresh orange zest, kiwi, and stone fruit. On the palate the tang of pink grapefruit dances gracefully with the essence of spring berries and citrus delights — salmonberry, white cherry, white raspberry, and Meyer lemon. Each sip is clean and refreshing, enhanced with a subtle crushed gravel minerality, culminating in a finish that balances just the right amount of body with a lingering acidity that beckons for just one more taste.

2023 GAMACHE VINEYARD VIOGNIER

The 2023 Viognier, our sixth wine from this lovely block of fruit, presents a pale straw color with glittering platinum highlights. Aromas of Asian pear and white peach intertwine with subtle tendrils of green pea shoots to present a fresh, clean, and intriguing bouquet. On the palate, this Viognier reveals a slightly weightier character than the Grenache Blanc, boasting rich flavors of ripe yellow peaches, apricots, cantaloupe, and Granny Smith apples. Despite its fuller body and viscosity, this wine maintains the signature mouthwatering acidity and energy that we cherish. It strikes a perfect balance between richness and freshness, showcasing the unique essence of Gamache Vineyard and this north-facing block.

2022 Knox Road Vineyard Grenache

During GSM blending trials, we found ourselves gravitating toward the Grenache component on its own. With the growing enthusiasm for Grenache worldwide, we decided to embrace it wholeheartedly with this varietal bottling. This wine offers an lively bouquet that bursts with strawberry, raspberry, and dried cherry, all laced with an intriguing herbal nuance. As it evolves in the glass, the nose develops a slightly candied quality, reminiscent of pie filling, accompanied by bright hints of blood orange and orange blossom. On the palate, it displays the characteristic lightness and suppleness of Washington Grenache, with red fruit flavors taking center stage. The midpalate is enhanced by excellent texture and structure, thanks to generous use of whole-cluster fermentation. A good swirl and some time to breathe will permit this wine to reveal to you its full complexity and charm.

2022 Alder Ridge Vineyard MourvÈdre

Our Mourvèdre has garnered an enthusiastic following, and the 2022 vintage continues the tradition of being both accessible and inviting. The nose opens with vibrant aromas of cherry candy and leather, with subtle hints of cracked black pepper adding complexity and intrigue. On the palate, the wine is sleek and supple, showing a wonderful balance between lightness and structure. As each sip unfolds, the wine builds in volume. The finish is remarkably persistent, leaving a mouthwatering impression that lingers long after the final sip. While the 2022 vintage brings a bit more verve and liveliness compared to the slightly plusher profiles of previous years, it remains every bit as satisfying, offering a fresh yet familiar take. This is a Mourvèdre that captivates with its elegance and evolving complexity.

2022 Les Collines Vineyard Syrah

Each year, the latest vintage of our Les Collines Syrah continues to impress, and this release is no different. In the glass, it displays a rich, deep hue. The nose greets you with a familiar medley of blue and black brambly fruits, underscored by a touch of saline minerality. On the palate, blackberry, blueberry, and black raspberry dominate, supported by a structure that is impeccably refined. As the wine unfolds, the classic garrigue herbaceousness emerges more prominently to complement the fruit-driven core. This vintage showcases some of the most perfect balance we’ve seen in a young Les Collines Syrah, making it wonderfully approachable now, but with plenty of potential for aging. Whether you enjoy it in its youth or years down the line, this Syrah promises both depth and elegance in equal measure.

2022 Knox Road Vineyard Syrah

This Knox Road Vineyard Syrah, an exciting new bottling for us, opens with a savory nose of black olive, cured meat, and menthol, intertwined with ripe blackberry, plum, and blueberry, and a touch of violet. On the palate, it’s bright and lively, showcasing dark fruit flavors of black and red plums, balanced by savory notes of tapenade and earthy minerality. Layers upon layers of complexity make this one of the more compelling wines we’ve tasted lately. The mouthfeel is vibrant, rich, and refined, with smooth tannins providing structure without overwhelming the fruit. A long, lingering savory finish plays with the mouthwatering acidity to leave a lasting impression and an unmistakable craving for another taste. We expect this fantastic new wine from one of our favorite growers to quickly become a favorite!

2021 Walla Walla Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

While we have enjoyed showcasing Seven Hills Vineyard in this wine previously, the combination with Southwind Vineyard (just a few hills to the west) proved too compelling to overlook. The nose presents the classic Walla Walla Cabernet profile, featuring vibrant notes of cassis, black cherry, plum, and blackberry, beautifully complemented by well-integrated barrel accents of cedar and baking spice. On the palate, the wine mirrors its aromas, with a velvety texture upon entry that leads to a seamless integration of acidity, structure, and flavor. It’s a disciplined and polished wine, where the bright, structural qualities of Southwind provide an ideal counterbalance to the opulence of Seven Hills. The finish is long and lingering, inviting contemplation and reflection—truly a wine to savor and enjoy at length.
